The spring tension and internal damping are carefully matched to provide smooth, continuous belt control while minimizing power-robbing belt slip and helping prevent belt and drive system failures.
The internal damping system allows the tensioner to maintain control during extreme operating conditions, including two-step launch control, rev limiter events, and sudden or repeated throttle transitions.
